I wanted to create a social media based website/portfolio to showcase what I’m really interested in and what I’m looking for when I graduate. When looking for inspiration for my website, I followed websites such as BuzzFeed as it bases its content around social media. I also wanted to show my work that I’ve done in presenting TV and Radio so I added a separate page named “Watch & Listen” to show everyone what I can do.

I wanted to make my website easy to navigate by creating easy and separate pages that clearly highlight where everything is. I added my CV into my About Me page as part of my portfolio.

I’ve also linked my social media on my About Me page that are all hyperlinked. They are also shown at the top right of my page as I feel like my social media accounts are important in showcasing what I’m interested in.

By making my website social media based I made sure that I have my Twitter feed going down the left side of my page to update everyone on my tweets. I’ve linked tweets into my posts and I have also created a separate Instagram away from my personal account to connect my social media followers with my website and vice versa.

Finally, I have a contact page for anyone who would like to contact me in regards to my website or any possible future employers who would like to hire me.
