Juliana Onetti – Website

14 Jun Juliana Onetti – Website

I chose to create my website www.julianaonetti.com in the form of an online magazine because I am interested in pursuing a career in fashion journalism. I write articles about fashion, lifestyle and travel, my target audience are people interesting in fashion trends and travelling, but also potential employers so they could get an idea of my writing style what I am capable of.

I chose a quite simple theme for my website, the three main colours are beige, white and black. I made it easy to navigate by adding the different categories at the top. The first thing you see when arriving on the homepage are the recent articles I published. My inspirations for the website design are vogue.co.uk and harpersbazaar.com.

Fashion category:

When clicking on the “fashion” category you will find all the articles talking about the latest fashion trends and haute-couture. This showcases my work as a fashion journalist.

Portfolio category:

I also created a “Portfolio” page, which is separated into three categories: Tv work, news articles and curriculum vitae. The tv work category showcases my work as a TV presenter for JLDN and the regional French tv channel France 3 Corse, where I was working as an occasional guest to present lifestyle reviews, from April 2019 to June 2020.

CV page:

Then, I created a category to show my CV, this way if a potential employer is visiting my website they have access to my CV without having to ask and wait for it, they can check it straight away.

About page:

I also created an “about” category for the people interested in knowing more about me. In this category, I talk about myself and my journey over the past few years.
