The aim of my website is to demonstrate how I have developed academically and individually over the past three years, how my skills and strengths have been enhanced and how this has prepared me to enter a career in teaching. My website will be valuable to me as part of my UCAS application in applying for my PGCE as a way to reference to work that has prepared me for the demands and nature of the course. More long term my website has allowed me to create a strong base of which I can develop my future teaching portfolio from. For this reason, I chose not to purchase a domain as I don’t believe it is essential in my current situation. Although I will not be using the site to obtain a job in the media industry, I still wanted to include the elements that have been taught to me over the three years. These skills I have been taught influenced my colour scheme and theme and also the use of SEO which is fully functioning across my website.
