Canterbury man cleared of carrying a knife

04 Dec Canterbury man cleared of carrying a knife

A man from Canterbury has been cleared of carrying a knife, after claiming he did not know it was in his bag. 26 year old Shukri Harib was stopped by staff at Victoria Station for failing to have a valid train ticket. When the police were called to assist, he was taken to the local police station and the weapon was found in his rucksack.
