In the early hours of Monday morning Meghan Markle gave birth to her first child with prince harry.
The baby boy who is yet to be named was born at 5.26am weighing in at 7pounds and 3ounces.
Harry has said that he’s overwhelmed with joy saying it was ‘the most amazing experience’ adding that his son is ‘to-die-for’
As tradition dictates an easel was placed in the forecourt of Buckingham palace acting as an official announcement for the public.
The announcement read, ‘The Queen and the Royal Family are delighted at the news that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 05.26am today. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well’

However, amongst others it’s a chance to make some money.
As the child is yet to be given a name or title the bookies have been busy in giving out odds.
Currently the favorites are Alexander, at 4/1. Spencer close behind at 5/1 and James is in third place with 6/1 odds. Where as Keith.. Is at 500/1.
The couple say the name will be something that unites the USA and the UK

The baby will likely become the Earl of Dumbarton, one of prince harry’s inherited titles.
The child is the first mixed-race child born to a senior royal in over a century. And the first ever bi racial heir to the throne.
The little boy is currently seventh in line to the throne behind his older cousins, prince william and prince charles.
Now the public eagerly await to see the first images of the new born child.
