28^th   – 31^st January

• Understanding cross platform storytelling
• Voice coaching with Vanessa and Sid in the radio studio, working on my presentation skills and making my voice louder and clearer when presenting on radio.
• Introducing a live studio discussion on the show, I worked as the floor manager making sure that everything ran smoothly during the show, making sure each guest had a mic in time for their discussion. Organising the guests and informing the production team of any changes and last minute decisions that had to be made in order to allow the show to run smoothly.

4^th– 7^th February

• Mobile journalism, interviewed a couple of people using our phones and creating content with only using apps available on the phone to create high quality videos.

11^th – 14^th February

• Competition Workshop, researching the different awards and competitions available and giving a short presentation. I choose the best radio news feature as I already have a case study in mind that’s would speak to me but didn’t want to be on camera so radio worked best.

18^th– 21^st February

• Mobile journalism, focusing on creating a live news show in one day and by only creating content on our mobile phones.
• In pairs we went out to gain footage on the story we were given, myself and Sidney had the story of an NHS report detailing requirements not being met in local, smaller surgeries. We went to 3 surgeries in SE1 and produced a 2-3 min video for the show.

25^th– 28^th February

• 45 min voice coaching in pairs, again focusing on TV presenting skills as well as dealing with last minute changes and breaking news announcements
• Shorthand, having used shorthand for my final project it helped me understand how the dashboard worked and why I wanted to present my project using it.

6^th– 10^th March

• Preparation for International woman’s day show

11^th– 14^th March

• Talks from John Lubbock from Wikimedia and Jennie Godsalve

18^th– 21^st March

• Assessed News Day, I was given the role as on the day reporter and floor manager
