My journalism project is a multi-media feature exploring how and why one of the most globally recognised esport games, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has grown massively in popularity in the last few years. With coverage from major TV channels such as ESPN as well as millions of viewers on live streaming services such as Twitch.tv, this competitive first-person shooter has a very bright and expansive story in it’s future, and this is the game’s story; with comments from developers, players and statistics to visualise what this game really means to the world of eSports.
