My project is a video and written piece exploring the silent army of unpaid dementia carers in the UK. My piece is a 10 minute documentary style video and a 1500 word supporting article highlighting the key factors. The aim of my project is to give a voice and unmask how carers are saving the economy so much but the effect of this is them being diminished and shut away from society. The target audience for this piece is a UK audience on a national level, with it being particularly relevant to people interested in dementia, carers and early stage individuals suffering with this disease.
