My Invisible Illness And Me: A Young Persons Perspective

15 Mar My Invisible Illness And Me: A Young Persons Perspective

My project looks at young people who suffer from invisible illnesses. It aims to not only understand their new ‘normal’, but to also raise awareness in order to change the problems that they have encountered. I have chosen to display my project in a 1200 word article, along with five audiograms (each being around 4 – 8 minutes long.)  The audiograms each contain an interview with a sufferer, where they talk about their illness, how it has affected their day-to-day life and the different issues that they have had to deal with. As well as the interviews, each audiogram includes a number of images of the sufferer, allowing their story to be visualized. My project targets young suffers, in the hope that they realise that they are not going through this alone.
