15 Mar Journalism Project – 100 word
My aim in creating this film was to get some answers as to whether or not religion and culture play a major role in arranged and forced marriages of afghan women living in the UK. I believe that it is important to let young Afghan women know what kind of help is available to them if they are ever in a situation where they are being pressurised or manipulated by their family under the name of culture or religion. Through my work I would to send out that message that Afghan women are still going through this and that there is help available, therefore my intended audience anyone from the ages of 15 and above.
