The purpose of my website is to showcase my writing ability. I have aimed to do this by including all of the news and sports articles that I have written whilst on my university course, as well as a number of reviews and feature pieces. I have ensured that a number of articles stand out as soon as any potential visitor enters my site, in the hope that at least one piece will catch their eye straight away.
It is imperative that my site is easy to navigate, therefore I have included a main menu at the top of the home page so that people can clearly see what type of articles are available to read.
There are also several links to my social media and LinkedIn profiles, as I believe they are incredibly important platforms for modern-day journalists to engage with the public and fellow professionals. In addition to that, I have included a contact page on my main menu so that any visitor to my site can easily get in touch.
