My project is based on the Syrian Refugee crisis around the world. I wanted to make this international crisis more aware of and for my final year project expand it from something bigger than local news. It consists of 4 films at 2’30” and a written piece of 1,500 words.
Part 1
introduction to the topic and what is about and based on
it then goes and shows various GVs of my trip to Jordan at the Syrian refugee camp as well as some copyright free images
there are also quotes which are roughly (3 seconds long)
concluding with an outro and scene 1 of the interviewee which is a GV which is (45 seconds long)
Part 2
starts off with a continuing introduction to where it left off
which then leads to the full story of the Refugee that fled Syria and came to the UK
this footage consists of (134 seconds)
the outro to part 2
Part 3
starts off with a clip from the Guardian news channel as I wanted my viewers to feel as if this story was personal to even them i inserted a brief clip highlighting the crisis in Syria.
it then later goes on and shows a continuation of the story of my interview
followed with an outro
Part 4
my starting scene for this clip was based on a famous quote.
followed with GV’s of my interview and ending her story there.
the ending scene is my last clips and footage from the Syrian Refugee campsite in Jordan.
ending with an outro and closing credits.
