29 Nov Woman accused of assaulting her ex-fiancé
Ms Opeyemi Adeyemo, 35, from Barkingside, is accused of assaulting her ex-fiancé and business partner, Jonathan Guppy, Romford Magistrates court heard.
The pair became engaged in September 2016 and months later, Adeyemo made Guppy a Co-director at her beauty company, OPV Beauty.
The incident occurred on the 10th May 2017, at Adeyemo’s company warehouse, when the couple argued over free international shipping. In response to the argument, Guppy took the CCTV laptop from the office and Adeyemo attempted to retrieve the item.
Prosecutor Josephine Marmire told the court that the defendant made 3 points of contact where she pushed, wrestled and punched Guppy.
The trial continues tomorrow.
