Peckhams Post office problems

Since the main post office on Rye Lane, Peckham was closed in 2016 all customers, have been diverted to the only remaining branch on Peckham high street. Our reporter Amira went out to see how this is affecting the post offices customers.

My main role in the VT assignment was editor. Both me and Hannah started by researching statics on the closure of post offices after she had been affected herself by the queues in Peckham post office. Once we had enough information Hannah wrote this script for the voiceover and PTC. My responsibility was collecting the equipment and we then went out as a group and both Hannah and I filmed the GV’s needed for the VT. Beth interviewed and helped film the vox pops and Amira did the PTC. After filming the PTC and vox pops we realised that the script needed to be changed so I re wrote/ altered the script to fit the footage we had. I then re sent the script to Amira and she recorded the voice over. I then started to edit the video and I then realised we need some more GV’s both Hannah and I went and filmed these extra GV’s needed, which allowed me to finish editing the video and once complete I uploaded it to YouTube.

Southbank’s skatepark saved

The Southbank’s famous undercroft skatepark have won a £700,000 grant from city hall, the grant is to improve lighting and its paving and concrete banks will be restored under the plans. We have two skateboarders and Claire from the Southbank centre to discuss the exciting expansion.
