My site is nosheenh.com. I wanted a simple name so it was easy to type in and remember. For my theme I chose a white background for my site – the featured images and hyperlinks work well because they stand out from the white. Everything on my site is bright and the theme of colour all ties together.
I have a sidebar that includes, categories (so readers can click on what they want to read), a search bar (can look for something specific), recent posts (prompting them to see more of my work), social media links (in icon style, connecting the reader to me thought different platforms) and a RSS feed from the website Bustle (one of the websites I read on a daily basis).
At the top are my name and a little line about me. My categories are very simple and divided into topics I think are most relevant to my work like fashion and beauty. I have included a separate page for my videos and audio pieces. My pages include CV (so readers can see my achievements and experience), ABOUT and CONTACT.
I also kept a consistent style across all of my posts All of them are written in a chatty style, hyperlinked with a relevant video to end it.
My site is very easy to use because readers can read from the most recent work, choose categories and even search for specific items.
