My site is extremely easy to navigate around. It has my name clearly stated below the header image which I took myself. I have a scroll system which means the user uses less clicks which is more efficient.
I then have seven tabs located underneath the featured image which will take you to a specific area of my site. I have a search tab at the to
p right hand corner of the site which can easily locate content. I added a calendar with the current date highlighted and my twitter and Instagram feed in the sidebar so you can see my social activity. I also chose my theme because of the versatility it has when using it on other devices.
My featured header image is a picture I took whilst traveling in NYC which enhances my travel menu. All of my content has a featured image which means my home page is full of images. I decided to stick predominately with a monotone colour theme.
One of my menu’s is a ‘Press’ tab which features content I wrote whilst interning at companies and my experiences there. This is also a page which showcases my previous work I’ve produced at university.
My about page is intended for potential employers. I have added a picture of myself and detailed info about my interests, places I’ve worked and my strengths / weaknesses within the industry.
