14 Dec Visiting your GP is no longer necessary- all you need is your phone
Alice Heather and I went down to St. Thomas Hospital in Waterloo to talk to people about the new App the NHS just published in cooperation with online company Babylon. Sidney Stanford was responsible for the written content. GP at hand enables the user to consult a GP from the comfort of their own home, 24/7. Users can book appointments or get prescriptions to any pharmacy thats registered with the service.Unfortunately we did not manage to reach any experts on the topic but we found three men of different ages that were happy to give us their opinion on the subject. For some reason no females were available to talk to us.
This week I had a double role within our VT team, I was the editor and also the camerawoman as only Alice Heather and myself were available.
As an editor I made sure everyone knew what they were doing, I coordinated the filming times, approached potential interviewees and supervised the editing process. In general I just made sure everything was sorted out and done in time.
As camerawoman I was responsible for filming the whole piece, including framing of the shots, piece to camera, vox pops, GV’s, stills and audio.
The package was broadcast on the 9th of November during our JLDN live show at 3 pm.
