14 Dec Essex Man Pleads Not Guilty On 4 Counts

James Marley, 24 from Rainham, today pleaded not guilty in a pre-trial hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

Mr Marley pleaded not guilty on four counts, these include possessing an imitation firearm namely a handgun with intent to cause fear or violence and the possession of an offensive weapon. He also pleaded not guilty on the charge of assaulting another man, following an incident in an Essex pub.

Mr Marley did however plead guilty to the possession of drugs notably cannabis. The trial will go ahead on March 19 and until then Mr Marley will remain in police custody.
