A neighbour sue for damages

14 Dec A neighbour sue for damages

The mother of two children Miss Monique Brown has appeared at the Willesden magistrate court on the 27 of November 2017 to sue her neighbour for illegal offences of constantly parking her car into her car parking space. The defendant Mrs Goshal Patel, who is a single mother of a two-year-old child, has disputed against Miss Brown’s appeal. Mrs Patel reportedly had asked miss brown to not take this matter to the court, but miss Brown refused it.

Miss Brown claimed that what Mrs Patel has done was an offence and asked the court to order her to pay for the damages.

Miss Brown has provided the court with two eyewitness who are the neighbours living on the same road and asking them about what they have seen relevant to the issue that’s being discussed on the court. One of the eyewitnesses explains “I have seen Miss Brown parking her car into Mrs Patel’s car park on several occasion”.

However the defendant denies that and she says “ I only parked her car into Mrs Patel parking space once when Mrs Patel’s car was not present there”.

After hearing all the evidences and talks from the from both the parties, the judge decided to order Mrs Patel to pay a fine of £1000.00 for the damages and an extra cost of another £1000.00 for the legal cost. .
