12 May VIDEO: Filter bubber apps
What you’re reading is FAKE NEWS! …. well how can you be sure?
My tech team and I tested out some apps that filter out fake news as well as redirecting you to other news you may have never wanted to consume when you are browsing online on social media or on websites and blogs. We had a look at three different apps such as Escape Your Bubble, Politecho and Read Across the Aisle to see how they work in filtering out fake news and connects you to different types of new news that are related to what you like.We also gathered research form Reuters Institute to see where people in the UK gather or access their news to.
I chose this video because I enjoyed the researched that I gathered which really benefited me (and hope that it benefits the viewers too). I also chose this video because I was really appreciative with the way Dani edited it so that it was clearly portrayed with a coherent structure, I also enjoyed filming it with her.
