12 May Bermondsey Reacts to The Snap Election
In a shock move, Prime Minister Theresa May announced there will be a snap election this June. We spoke to residents and interviewed a popular local candidate for the Bermondsey and Old Southwark seat, who was in parliament on the day of the announcement.
I helped in researching the topic and ended up learning a lot about the voting system. I was the on site and on camera reporter including the piece to camera and various voice overs. Although James Murray did do most of the editing, I helped with a few minor selections and cuts. I was on site for asking questions for two out of the 3 vox pops as I was unavailable for the third as well as the main interview with the MP.
