Production log
Week 4:
The first day of week 4, we took the NSS survey at uni. After that we headed out to do trampolining in Acton. We had loads of fun bouncing and bonded over different activities in the park. After that we got pizza and got to catch up with each other. Some of us also went to the nearest pub after the park and we spend a relaxed, fun evening together, getting to know one another better.
The next day was fun as well. I came in couple of minutes late because of my dentist appointment, but got to meet Mandy Carlton, who made us do different voice exercises. During this lesson we read out loud, got some tips and tricks and presented in front of the newsroom’s camera. She gave us feedback as well as taught us how to give a good presentation.
Mandy introduced us to Huw Thomas, who came in to help us with improvisation and finding our voices. His playful couple of hours consisted of: singing funny songs together, playing couple of group games and making improvised poses and acts. This day was a super fun and very different experience, and I got a lot out of it. Both of the lecturers gave me a lot of good information and inspiration, as well as confidence and laughter.
The next day we had feedback with Michael and tried to decide what to do for the next weeks live show.
