PORTFOLIO WEBSITE IMAD

09 Jan PORTFOLIO WEBSITE IMAD

The design of my portfolio homepage (and generally the whole website) is simple, minimalist, but still feels professional. There isn’t any ‘distractive’ element (RSS/social media feeds) or intricate parallax/visual effects. It allows visitor to focus straight on the content. Menus are kept to a minimum, they advertise the skill categories and the website’s only two other pages.

This is an example of a post showcasing my photography skills. It features a brief description of the production,  as well as my role(s) and the tasks I have performed. The photo-album can be viewed in an immersive full-screen mode. Visitors can also view the production in context by clicking on the visit project button. They can also share on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+)

A fairly similar post, this time showcasing my skills as a filmmaker. I have included the name of the client I’ve worked with and provided a link to the project on his website.Visitors can go back to the videos section simply by clicking on ”Videos” or revert to the portfolio home page by clicking on the main logo.

This post showcase my skills as a writer. I have included a screenshot of the article I’ve written, as well as an excerpt. I have provided a link so visitor can read the original article where it has been published. Throughout the portfolio, visitors can view the previous or next project by click on the bottom arrows.

The About page features a profile pic, as well as some information about myself. I have provided my email address directly which I  think is more practical than contact forms. Visitors can follow me on twitter, have a look or download my CV.
