Hello and welcome to my blog!
My blog consists mainly of books, beauty and baking. I update weekly and have a couple of running series I try to maintain. Here is my own favourites! I hope you’ll enjoy!
1.The Front Page
The most important thing about my blog is the front page. This is where the navigation is located and the slider shows the newest blog posts in order. I hope that you will pay special attention to the navigation and the subcategories. I have tried to make them simple and informative.
2. Cooking With Books segment
Cooking With Books – segment
The newest segment in my blog is the ‘Cooking with Books‘ segment. The idea to this segment came from a need to connect two things I love: books and cooking. This segment is based on videos of cooking, baking and preparing the food. I have brought this segment to special attention because I believe that it is a different way of presenting food in a blog and it also connects the themes and segments of the blog together.
3. Get the Look – Books
Another segment in my blog is the ‘Get the Look from Books’ segment. I have brought this to special light because of my running series “A Series of Unfortunate Events Fantasy Makeup”. In this 13 part series, I have photographed and edited pictures that present the unique atmospheres of each book. The posts are also written on the same, pessimistic Lemony Snicket – tone than the books. The segment has been fun to plan, make and edit and that is why I believe it is something special and different to mention.
4. The World’s subcategories
The sub-categories of the World category are something that I added to the blog a bit later on. After a suggestion from LJ I decided to use my language skills and provide some content in three different languages. I want to highlight this segment because it is important to me and shows a great deal of my talents. Hopefully there will be more language tabs as I can speak a couple of more!
5. The news segment
This is my favourite ‘free style‘ category. I have brought this to special light because this is the place where I share my photographs of London and the news and the culture what is around me.
