The following are five screen grabs of my portfolio website.

The theme I chose for my website, Destin, is a minimal, blog style theme which suits my website. The featured images for the posts are prominent and if the theme had been any more complex, the page would have looked too busy. The front page format is the heading, byline and a simple menu followed by recent posts.

I made an ‘About me’ page where I have included a picture of myself and a short description. There is a comment box under ‘Leave a reply’ for any feedback.

The side bar menu is on the right hand side of the page when a post is open. This includes a search bar, the most recent posts and a live Twitter feed.

An example of video embedding in a post. Each post is categorised and tagged.

Right hand side bar also includes post categories and meta data. The posts themselves have examples of embedded images and pull quotes.
