Below are 5 screenshots drawing attention to features of my website.
1) Theme.
I have chosen a theme that is simple and minimalistic in both its appearance and its functionality. I have enabled endless scrolling on this theme as I wanted to create a blog-style feel in addition to a place where my journalistic pieces are kept. I’m a lover of monochrome and general mixtures of black white and grey. I feel they give a modern look to anything which is why I chose this for my site.

2) Categories
The functionality and navigation of my site is of prime importance. All posts in some way will be linked under these categories to ensure smooth navigation for visitors e.g potential employers. An overlay colour of turquoise and blue is used in order to break up the monotony many visitors may find from the monochrome colour theme.

3) Twitter
As mentioned earlier, the desired aesthetic of my site also has some features that are akin to a blog, giving a more colloquial yet professional feel, that is why I have embedded a Twitter feed onto the right hand side of my site.
4) Social Media
Social Media is a fundamental aspect (in addition to search engine optimization) that enables any site to reach the masses. By incorporating this social media sharing feature into my posts it gives any visitors the option to share posts with their own followings on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and Tumblr.

5) Multimedia Portfolio
The latest post to be uploaded to my site is the multimedia portfolio we were required to produce for our final submission. It incorporates elements of video and audio which are correctly embedded into the post which adds to the navigation and functionality of my site.
