This is my personal portfolio website, with some important screen grabs to demonstrate my multimedia journalism and storytelling skills. My portfolio contains projects which I have done within the university and alone. Each peace demonstrates my ability of producing and understanding platforms of digital journalism.
Theme: My theme has very simple yet elegant appearance with very easy navigation menu. The theme also allows readers to access the page with mobile and tablet devices. for more theme features please visit ttmedia.me.uk
Image widget This allows me to explain who I am and what I do with a tagline. My tagline contains snappy summarising text about myself.
Sidebar: The sidebar is main content in order to gain user attention, some features include recent posts slider, Image widget as well as my social media accounts, particularly displaying my Instagram to have my website more interactive. Categories, weather widget, calendar, twitter slider as well as BBC news RSS compliments the overall layout of the website and helps to drive traffic toward the website.
News and feature page: This category includes my personal journalism work which I have done during my time at the university. I have also included separate category for my Georgian readers which comes under the page News in Georgian. This helps me to demonstrate my interest not only producing work for English readers as well as for my Georgian Audience.
The feature article below contains two elements of multimedia report as well as stand first. This is a very nice approach to allow my users to surf through the text, video or audio, as they have a freedom to view desired content and in order they like. This particular feature helps me showcase my understanding of online journalism e.g Stand first, hyperlinking, tagline, multimedia elements and feature writing skills.
