03 Dec Asylum seekers and refugees in the UK

Asylum Aid‘s Zoe Gardner and refugee coach driver Sylvia Jones give firsthand insight into the reality of the situation.

Many of us know very little about asylum seekers and refugees. We don’t know what they are, why they’ve left their countries, why they’re coming to the UK and the difficulties they face.

In this video we speak to Asylum Aid’s Communications Offer Zoe Gardner to find out the answer to these questions and what Asylum Aid does for asylum seekers.

Refugees often have a long journey from A to B. Sylvia Jones is one of many coach drivers who transports refugees; taking them to their living accommodations across the country. In this podcast Ms. Jones talks to us about their journeys and her personal experience of working alongside refugees.
