This month Earth Explorers take a look at how 100 years of Bollywood have affected the Asian community in London.
TKFM presents another episode of their monthly podcast “Earth Explorers” . This episode takes a look at the Asian community and in particular the Bollywood film industry. With it’s 100th anniversary this year we thought that now is one of the best times to take a closer look. We interview members of the public to get their views on Bollywood and ask them “Do you watch many Bollywood movies?” . As well as speaking to three experts who share their fond memories and expertise on the subject. We started with Naman Ramachandran, a film critic and author of Lights Camera Masala Making Movie In Mumbai.
Followed by Vinesh Boodhoo’s interview, an avid fan who grown up watching Bollywood movies and shares with us how it helped him shape his culture identity.
At last, our third interview was Ashanti Omkar, a media persona who works in the UK, as a Print/Broadcast journalist. She writes her own blog on her journey through her career.
